It is easy to think "my skin looks fine
, I'll worry about it when I am older", but that is not a sound way to view the health of your skin. A proactive skin care approach is where you adopt a skin care regime to prevent premature aging of your skin before it starts, rather than having to 'fix' problems later.

If you think about it, why should you treat your skin any different from some other valuable asset like your car? Why do you get the car serviced? It is just because you want to spend some money, or is it because you need it and do not want expensive repair bills?

A proactive skin care approach is no different and investing in the health of your skin is the same as investing in health insurance
, care maintenance, house insurance, etc. We brush our teeth several time as day, why? ? not because they have holes in them, but we want to prevent the holes and avoid expensive trips to the dentist...

We take our skin very much for granted and spend little time thinking about it. Maybe because of the many Skin Cancer Ad Campaigns
, we will apply sunscreen lotion when going outside, but beyond that, we don't seem to spend much time looking after our skin.

Similarly, a proactive skin care approach takes the quality of skin care products into consideration, however to often we buy skin care by smell and how good the packaging looks. Neither of which guarantees a quality product. On the contrary
, often the expensive, good looking products contain artificial perfumes, synthetic essential oils, chemical emollients, preservatives
, and many other ingredients that have been shown to be toxic if used over a long period of time.

Natural Skin Care Products are the only way to approach your skin care regime. Natural products, not just natural ingredients that have been added to an otherwise non-natural base, are a great way to take a proactive step towards promoting and maintaining healthy skin.

In addition to taking a proactive skin care approach, you should also consider doing the same with your diet. Foods that can benefit the skin will also benefit other parts of your body and promote healthy body tissues.

Similarly, exercise and other physical activity will promote blood circulation to the outer layers of your skin
, providing it with nutrients and oxygen that will help in promoting the health of your skin.

So, a proactive skin care approach while there is nothing wrong with your skin is the best way to prevent problems from occurring later on.

When most people think of mouse traps, they envision the traditional snap traps which must be set and baited. While this is still an effective option many people choose to go a different route. The glue or adhesive mouse trap has become one of the most popular rodent tools, especially for residential use. Comparing the benefits and drawbacks is a great way to determine if the adhesive traps should be considered one of the best rodent tools available.

The first benefit of this type of trap is they are easy to use. The simple design features a glue board or glue trap which is a flat surface coated with an adhesive. When the mouse touches the glue, it is immediately trapped and immobilized. This eliminates the risk damaging the trap trying to set it or of the mouse stealing the bait away. Additionally
, since no poison is used there is no risk of inadvertent poisoning of small children or pets in the home.

The second benefit is they are economical. The simplicity of the glue trap makes it one of the most economical ways to trapping unwanted rodents. They are often less expensive than more complicated alternatives without sacrificing effectiveness. It has also been shown effective for use against other pests such as scorpions and spiders. Larger traps have even been known to capture snakes.

The third option is they are disposable. The ability to easily dispose of the trap and mouse once it is caught is often not considered until disposal time. The sticky mouse trap features one of the easiest disposal options of all rodent tools. It is important to note that there is a chance the mouse may still be alive when discovered.

The final benefit is cleanliness. Adhesive traps use glues made from natural or synthetic substances which are non-toxic to humans and sometimes non-toxic to animals as well. This is especially important in a residential setting with small children or pets. An overlooked cleanliness benefit is the adhesive also captures any mites which may be traveling on the mice, essentially eliminating two pests at once.

There are a few drawbacks to using an adhesive trap to consider. The first drawback is the mouse may still be alive when discovered. As a result, homeowners will either need to throw the trap and mouse away together or manually kill the mouse. While killing the mouse while immobilize is simple, many people find it off-putting. The second drawback is the trap either needs to be placed where mice often travel or will need to be baited.

Overall, the adhesive mouse trap is one of the best rodent tools available. It is easy to use
, economical, effective, and comparatively hygienic. While there are several drawbacks to consider they are minimal compared to potential drawbacks of poisons or more complicated traps.
