One of the toughest parts after becoming an au pair can be meeting people and making friends. Even if you are staying with a family, life as an au pair can be alone, especially at first few days. This happens mostly with many au pairs who are new to a country and don?t know someone outside accept their host family. Even for au pairs who did proper study, inquired all the correct questions, and acquired a perfect host family, getting familiar to other people around is tough task.

As myself, I was good when I first moved to Australia as an au pair. I had few friends in the country but no one nearby. I also had a best host family.
